Mammography
Mammography, or Digital Mammography Test allows the detection of breast cancer which can help save many lives if detected in the initial stages. It is a simple test which includes breast imaging using low-dose x-rays. When detected early, Breast Cancer has a 90% cure rate.

BMD (Bone Mineral Density)
The Bone Mineral Density Test detects the amount of calcium and other minerals in specific areas of bones. This test his helpful in detecting osteoporosis and predicting the risk of bone fractures.

An ECG helps in detecting:

- Thickness of the heart chambers and coronary artery diseases

2D Echo
The Two Dimensional Echocardiography uses sound waves to create images of the heart, paracardiac structures and the great vessels. It is useful in detecting abnormalities in the heart.
A 2D Echo Test is useful in:
- Detecting various heart diseases
- Checking the thickness and proper movement of the heart wall
- Checking the functioning of heart valves
- Measuring any abnormality in the size and shape of the heart’s chambers
- Finding any blood clots and tumors inside the heart
- Determine how well an artificial heart valve is functioning
- Checking the ability of heart’s chambers in pumping blood (cardiac performance)
TMT (Tread Mill Test)
The Tread Mill Test, also known as Stress Test gauges the heart’s capacity to handle stress and can detect numerous heart ailments in advance. At SDC, we don’t like to keep our patients waiting as TMT can be a time consuming test. Therefore, we have installed two machines so that two patients can be examined simultaneously. Moreover, we also have a mini ICU ready in case of rare emergencies where patients might need immediate medical attention.
The Stress Test helps in determining:
- If enough blood flows to your heart when your physical activity increases
- Any abnormality in heart rhythms
- How well the heart valves are working
- Whether you are at a risk of developing coronary heart disease and need more testing
- Whether your heart medications are working properly
- To develop a safe exercise program for you depending on your physical condition
